Away Days: your Fantasy XI, a whole new adventure
TL;DR
- Take your locked Fantasy XI through a new four-act campaign each gameweek. Choose your path and build your deck as you go.
- Cal Fury and Old Gvard join the Mythical roster. Iconic KDB is now campaign-exclusive: earn him on your first full clear, not from packs. Existing copies remain tradable.
- Earn weekly campaign trophies with × counts, plus new Campaign, Academy, Daily Battle and Special Card objectives.
- Leagues now brings together Fantasy, Daily and Ranked Battle, Streaks and Trophies. Your header shows your earned trophy total.
- Train two Academy XIs: Foundations and Graduates. Eligible submitted teams carry forward automatically, with past training XP kept on display.
- A larger map, clearer rewards, relevant monster videos, quick skill sorting and visible FML Lair make the campaign easier to navigate.
- Claim-ready monsters move to the front of Squad rows. Limited editions stay with their underlying rarity, and chain puzzles show distinct-position requirements clearly.
The Away Days · Weekly Campaign
Your locked Fantasy XI enters a new weekly map with one opening Skill. Four acts, branching forward-only paths and four bosses turn your team into a deck-building adventure. Lose a run and start again; there is no need to rebuild your XI between battles.
Regular matches, themed Cups, Survival, Last-Minute Winner and Final Whistle encounters bring different challenges. Last-Minute Winner limits your moves; Final Whistle asks you to win within one turn. Bosses rally at half health with armour and reinforcements.
Your positive Fantasy score funds run-only FP, with smaller bonuses from battle wins. Recruit chemistry-linked squad members, add Skills, buy shop upgrades or use campfires to restore keeper health, improve Skills and trim your deck. Run upgrades do not change your owned cards.
Optional deposit puzzles use your own monsters and the familiar puzzle screen. Completing them consumes the selected cards and grants the usual permanent puzzle rewards.
The map now fills the play area with a compact status bar and accessible FML Lair. Reward choices use properly framed portraits, encounter art varies by activity, and opening Skills can be sorted highest-first by rarity or level. Skipped recruit offers stay out of later choices in the same run.
New monsters & campaign-exclusive KDB
Cal Fury (Calafiori) and Old Gvard (Gvardiol) expand the Mythical roster with new artwork, entry and defeat audio, and animated portraits. Suárez also has refreshed Iconic artwork.
Iconic KDB is now a campaign prize, excluded from all pack and random-pull pools. Complete all four acts to receive one standard Iconic KDB on your first full clear, once per manager.
Previously owned KDB copies are unchanged and remain eligible for trading and marketplace sales. The campaign-exclusive rule controls new rewards, not ownership or trading.
Weekly honours & objectives
Leagues keeps Fantasy Gameweek and Overall tables front and centre, with separate Battle, Streaks and Trophies views. Battle includes today's Cup, Last-Minute Winner and Survival standings alongside Ranked. Streak tables compare Daily, Puzzle and Battle runs, with Current and Personal Best options.
A compact trophy counter now appears in the mobile and desktop header and links to the trophy leaderboard. Totals include repeat wins shown as × counts; equal totals share a rank.
Each act boss awards a campaign trophy: Trailblazer, Pathfinder, Vanguard and Weekly Campaign Champion. Earn each again in a new gameweek to increase its × count. Replaying the same gameweek does not add another count.
The original campaign is now Training Trials. Its existing trophies display as Training Trials Conqueror and Champions Trials Sovereign, with earned progress preserved.
New objective sets cover campaign act clears, different weekly campaign completions, Academy training and XP, Daily Battles, and collecting Babies and Jokers. Visit Objectives to see progress and claim rewards. Existing objective claims stay intact.
Academy & collection clarity
The Academy now has two teams, both requiring 24/33 chemistry. Foundations accepts Common and Rare monsters. Graduates requires 1 Iconic, 2 Mythical/Special cards, 3 Legendary, 4 Epic and 1 Limited edition (1/1 or 1/10). The Limited card fills its own slot; it does not count twice.
Eligible submitted teams automatically carry into the next gameweek. Save a draft to pause auto-entry. Previous teams and settled training XP remain visible, and results from the retired middle track are preserved.
Academy progress unlocks Battle levels, not Fantasy leaderboard points or evolutions. Normal level-up coin costs still apply. A physical card cannot train in two Academy teams or earn Academy XP alongside Fantasy points.
Monsters ready for a level or EVO claim move to the front of their position row. Limited editions stay within their underlying rarity. Chain puzzles now show their distinct-position target and flag repeated positions.
